Every live posting is rechecked about every 11 days. It moves here when the employer closes it (the page comes down or says it's no longer accepting applications), or once it's more than 6 months old, unless it's for a future start date like "Summer 2027". Careers-page entries move here if the benefit is no longer on the page.

Pay chart (More stats): each employer counts once (its typical midpoint pay), so a firm posting one role in 50 cities can't swamp the rest; each bar covers the middle half of employers (25th to 75th percentile) and the dot is the median. The thin line behind it covers the middle 80% of individual postings (10th to 90th percentile), to show how much pay varies within and across firms, and a bar appears once it has at least 6 postings from at least 2 employers. Cost of living from the US Bureau of Economic Analysis 2024 Regional Price Parities (US average = 100): high is 104 and above, low is below 94, medium is in between. It uses the posting's metro area when we can match the city (so Denver counts as high even though Colorado overall is medium), otherwise the state.
Firm size: Big 4 (ranks 1 to 4), National (5 to 25), Large regional (26 to 100) and Regional (101 to 500) follow INSIDE Public Accounting's 2026 Top 500 ranking of US CPA firms by revenue. Local means a CPA firm below that list. Blank means not a CPA firm, or not known.
Every "Yes" quotes the employer's own words and links to the source. Listed from public postings and careers pages; none of these employers is affiliated with ChatCPA or endorses it.
