Jobs and pay
Is my offer too low?
Enter your offer and see where it lands against what employers actually post for the same job. Free, no email needed.
How this works, and what it can't tell you
Your offer is compared with the pay ranges employers publish on their own job postings, from the jobs ChatCPA tracks across the US, open and closed, from the last 18 months. Each posting counts once, at the middle of its range. We use the closest match that has at least 8 postings from at least 4 different employers, and widen the comparison when there are fewer.
Posted ranges are not offers. Most offers land inside the posted range, often in the lower half for new hires. Ranges come mostly from states with pay-transparency laws, so some states are thin. Base pay only: bonuses, overtime, 401(k) match and exam support are not counted. This is information, not advice.
